The Broker — What It Is
TabTrade opened in March 2026. Trading platform based in Saint Lucia, licensed through the Financial Services Regulatory Authority. The person who started it is Benjamin Boulter. Previously, he was on the executive team at BlackBull Markets, a FMA-regulated broker.
His background matters. It suggests the leadership is not figuring it out from scratch. Does not mean TabTrade is the same as BlackBull. But preferable to a random name you cannot trace.
They launched with Equinix data centre access in London. Same data centres prime brokers run on. The typical new launch focuses on ads and sign-up promos. TabTrade did the opposite. Interesting choice.
The instrument list: FX, indices, metals, oil, energies, softs, stock CFDs, crypto, exchange-traded funds. A wide spread. For a broker that is a few months old, the breadth is not narrow.
Platforms
You get: MT5, cTrader, and a browser platform. Both platforms from a single account. Many only give you one or the other. Having both matters. Use whichever you prefer.
MetaTrader 5 is the default. Full charting, Expert Advisors, tons of scripts and indicators. If you have traded on MT4 or MT5 before, there are no surprises.
cTrader by Spotware is the more modern one. Better depth of market. Faster charting. cBot support. A lot of traders prefer it after comparing.
FIX API is available for bots but needs the VIP account ($25,000 deposit). TradingView charting is apparently coming. That would make the platform set when it lands.
What You Pay
Three levels: Standard, Edge, VIP.
Standard. Spreads from 1.0 pips. Commission-free. Simple. Zero deposit requirement. Works for people who want simple pricing.
Edge account. True raw pricing from 0.0 pips on average. Commission of $3.50 each way. All-in: raw spread plus $7 per full lot. On majors, the raw spread is frequently below 0.2 pips. Meaning your real cost can be below 0.5 pips. That is good for an offshore broker. Most brokers that run raw pricing at this level require a minimum deposit. This broker does not.
VIP account. $25,000 minimum. FIX connectivity, sub-20ms execution, tailored rates. Not relevant to typical accounts. Ignore this one unless you trade institutionally.
Infrastructure
This is the area where this broker actually does something different. Equinix data centres. Execution below 30 milliseconds on Edge. Sub-20ms on VIP. Those are proper execution targets. The average platform quote 100ms to 300ms.
Does this affect you? If you trade small timeframes, yes. The gap between a 30ms fill and a 200ms fill is catching the move or missing it. If you trade higher timeframes, you probably will not feel it. What matters is the infrastructure is there. That is what kind of broker this is.
Pair that infrastructure with 0.0 pip spreads and $7 round-turn and the overall offering holds up. Hardly anyone with no minimum deposit run Equinix connectivity.
Safety
Here is the part you need to be straight about. The broker is licensed by Saint Lucia's FSRA. That is tier-3. No ASIC. No investor compensation scheme. If that is a dealbreaker, this broker is not for you. Plenty of tier-1 alternatives out there.
However. The person running it came from BlackBull Markets, a proper broker. The execution setup is expensive. Dodgy operations do not pay for proper execution infrastructure. None of this replace tier-1 regulation. But inform how you think about it.
What you are accepting: you give up tier-1 protection. What you get instead: 1:1000 leverage, raw pricing from 0.0 pips, no minimum deposit, fast fills. Whether this deal works comes down to your priorities.
Deposit Bonus
Tab Trade offers a welcome bonus of up to two thousand dollars. Standard sign-up bonus. You put money in, the broker credit extra capital. Standard terms apply: minimum lots traded before you can withdraw the bonus. Read the conditions before you commit.
